Where is the download product?

1. Select and purchase the track online. You will need to buy it with PayPal.* (If you're not already signed up with PayPal, just continue and we'll automatically take you there.) After purchase please click the Return to Merchant button and you will be re-directed from PayPal to your download page at Zapstars.com!!

2. Download the selected tracks to your MAC or PC from the Zapstars page within minutes of purchase.

What are the system requirements for downloading and playing the MP3 file downloads from Zapstars?

Hardware Requirements

  • Pentium 266Mhz processor or faster<
  • Minimum 32MB RAM (Win98/Me), 64MB (Windows 2000)
  • 50MB of free hard disk space
  • Sound card
  • Speakers
  • Network or Internet connection (Recommended 56K or higher)

* Playing digital content can be CPU intensive and quality may be affected if system resources are low or if multiple applications are running simultaneously

Software Requirements:

  • Installed media player software

Browser Requirements:

  • Internet Explorer 5 and higher
  • Netscape

Supported Operating Systems:

  • Mac
  • Windows 95, 98, 2000

How long does it take to download a track?

It depends on your connection speed, the file size of the track, and Internet traffic. Estimated times to complete an average-sized download (3Mb) are as follows:

What if my download process is interrupted?

If the track download is interrupted for any reason (i.e. knocked offline, hit wrong button), you can return to the original link and start the process over. The machine will recognize that a partial download has completed and it will start at this point rather than at the beginning. If you receive a prompt for "This file is already saved, would you like to replace it?," click Yes and continue the download process.

In what format is my digital download delivered?

The Zapstars downloads are made available in MP3 and or Quicktime format.

What can I do with an MP3 file?

MP3 files can be played on your computer, burned to CD or transferred easily to a portable device.

What software player is required for me to play the MP3 files?

Any standard media software player should support MP3 files. If you do not have a software player on your system, we recommend the following players (click on the link to download the player):
WinAmp
Windows Media Player
Real Player

PURCHASING TRACKS / PAYMENT

What type of payment do you accept?

Currently, we accept PayPal only. PayPal is digital money. As a buyer, it lets you purchase things on the Internet and you can have the money deducted from your checking account or credit card. Once you signup for PayPal, you can buy things using only your e-mail address. PayPal is used by over 20 million Internet users and is the online leader in digital payment technology.

What if I have issues with my PayPal account?

Please contact PayPal customer service or visit www.paypal.com for more information.

How do I know if PayPal received my payment?

You will receive a PayPal receipt within a few minutes of your purchase. In addition, you can log into your PayPal account and see your transactions under "History."

Where can I download the tracks?

Select and purchase the track online. You will need to buy it with PayPal.* (If you're not already signed up with PayPal, just continue and we'll automatically take you there.) The PayPal email address used to purchase the download. Unfortunately, we cannot send the email receipt to a different email address other than the one used to purchase it.

RECEIPTS FOR PURCHASE and MUSIC

After purchase, what will I receive?

Each purchaser will receive TWO emails after completing the purchase process. PayPal will send an email confirming payment using your PayPal account. In addition, Zapstars will send an email with the receipt inside. If you have not received either email, your transaction may have been incomplete OR you may be using a Hotmail or AOL account which filters some emails into a Junk Folder. Please check this folder and send "download@zapstars.com" an email if you need to request a second email. Do not send download@zapstars.com any other support issues as they will not be answered. If you have general questions, send an email to support@zapstars.com.

I have not received my email receipt. Is there an issue?

If you have not received the email link, it may be that you are using AOL and Hotmail. Some email service providers filter our emails out of your inbox. We can send you a second email directly if you request it. Please send the request to: download@zapstars.com. Please do not send download@zapstars.com any other support issues as they will not be answered. If you have general question or are not using AOL and Hotmail, please send an email to support@zapstars.com.

PLAYING TRACKS

How do I play a track once I've downloaded it?

Playing your track is simple: just open the folder where you saved your track, and double-click on the track you want to hear.

Do I need to be connected to the Internet to play this track?

No. Once you have downloaded a song, you do not need to be connected to the Internet to play it.

What software do I need to playback a track?

You need a media player installed to play this track. We recommend WinAmp, Windows Media Player or Real Player. Click here to download one if you do not have it on your computer:

BURNING TRACKS TO CD

Can I burn my tracks to a CD?

Yes, you can burn your track once to a recordable compact disc (CD-R or CD-RW).

What additional System Requirements do I need to burn to CD?

To burn your tracks to CD, you will need a CD recorder and blank CDs to which you can copy.
If you use the Microsoft Media Player, it should contain the Windows Media Player Adaptec CD-Burning component. ( This is usually installed as part of Windows Media Player. If you do not have this component installed, you can click on "Check For Player Upgrades" on the Help menu in Windows Media Player and install it. )

How do I burn my tracks to a CD?

Your player may have its own software, in which case you should follow that application's instructions. The following instructions describe how to use Microsoft Media Player.

  • In Microsoft Media Player, create a playlist of the tracks you want to burn to CD.
  • Then, choose "Copy to CD" from the File menu.

Can my automobile CD player play the burned CD?

ZAPSTARS BASIC RIGHTS POLICY

Zapstars reserves the right to remove or cancel a download link purchased by a purchaser if that purchaser is openly providing it to other parties for exploitation. For certain, unreasonable activity by a purchaser, Zapstars can act without providing a Re-download.
You may be entitled to receive a Re-download on your purchase of a track for any of the following reasons:

  • You downloaded a file that contained damaged, incomplete, or incorrect content you were unable to download the file
  • You experienced a hard-drive failure
  • You downloaded a file that is incompatible with your hardware
The Re-download decision will be determined after the purchaser has contacted the Zapstars Re-download Service for assistance at download@zapstars.com . The decision will be made by Zapstars.

PAYPAL

I have issues with my PayPal account. What do I do?

Unfortunately, Zapstars cannot assist purchasers with their specific PayPal issues. You will need to contact PayPal directly-click on "HELP" in the upper right hand corner at www.paypal.com .

I do not remember my PayPal password. What do I do?

According to PayPal, if you have forgotten your password you can reset it. Before you can reset your password, you will need to confirm ownership of your account by answering questions that only you as the account owner would know. After you have answered the questions to verify your identity, you will be asked to choose a new password. Remember to choose a meaningful password or keep your password in a safe place in case you forget it again. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the PayPal homepage
  2. Click on the Forget your password? link
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click Submit
  5. Check your email inbox
  6. Click on the link in the PayPal email
  7. If nothing happens when you click the link, copy and paste the URL into your browser window
  8. Confirm your account ownership by completing one of the sections of the Verify Your Identity page
  9. Click Submit
  10. Enter your new password and new security questions and answers
  11. Click Submit
  12. Your password has been successfully changed

TRANSFER TO PORTABLE DEVICE

Can I transfer the media file to a portable device, i.e. MP3 player?
